Richmond, BC- Adam Byles impressed in his opening race on the roads in 2014 with a sub twenty-four minute clocking at the Steveston Ice-Breaker 8km on Saturday in Steveston. Byles covered the out and back route in a time of 23:58, just ahead of his teammate Theo Hunt. Hunt was second across the line in a time of 24:48. Hunt will represent Canada at the NACAC Cross Country Championships on February 22nd in Tobago. On the women's side, Jen Moroz ran a time of 29:48 to crack the top ten. Beverly Barnes won her age category in the women's 50-54 age group with a time of 37:43.
